Short description : Stochastic or random models are used more and more in engineering problems: production management, reliability, finance, insurance, speech and image processing, DNA analysis and genome, random mechanics, etc. Nowadays, get good background in this type of models is an urgent requirement for every engineer. The aim of this course is to present the standard stochastic models for engineers.
Specific information : Accessible to student with an introductory course to probability calculus
Evaluation : Laboratory work (T), Middle examination (M), Final examination (F)
Conditions of attribution : 0,20 T + 0,40 M + 0,40 F >= 10
